Suchitra Krishnamoorthi is looking for hot-bodied, young men to pose nude for her canvas

The following post will read more like a paid plug-in or an advertisement. This actually is an interview of an actor turned artist, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi. She was interviewed by Gayatri Jayaraman of TNN, and this was published in the Bombay Times recently.

I have interspersed this article with my thoughts…I have tried to guess what Suchitra is actually trying to say. I personally think there is a hidden message in this article which is she trying to convey to the world or perhaps to Shekhar, her ex-husband.

Suchitra Krishnamoorthi is calling for hot-bodied young men to pose nude for her canvas… at her studio in Juhu: “I’m going to do something I’ve never done before.

[SK] I miss Shekhar… That BA*&@#S(@ has deserted me… I don’t need that old F*&@k anymore. I want hot and young blood.

The outcome may be worth it. I’m going to pick a male muse to paint — someone between 18 and 25 — who is young, beautiful, strong, muscular, full of yearning, hope, ambition, intelligence and faith. I’m sure I’ll find many volunteers.

[SK] What the F*&@ does SK(Shekhar K) think of himself.. what big deal… all he has done is directed another old hag (Kate Blanchet) in that boring film Elizabeth.. I was bored to death.. I couldn’t react earlier as that OLD HAG was still living with me.


And if we are both lucky, with blessings from the cosmos, we could make headlines and laugh our way to the bank!

[SK] I hope I get lucky this time and get some YOUNG cool dude.. who will help me to have real good time and show me how to enjoy this sick life to the fullest.

I intend to obliterate his face, his expressions, his soul, his heart and brain, with smudge lines on canvas.

[SK] First and foremost, I am a F*^#&ALL artist… I am one of those who can’t draw ‘A for Apple’… I prefer to throw colors on the canvas… draw something that makes no sense and pass it on in the name of Abstract paintings. Mere baap ne bhi kabhi brush nahi utthaaya life mein…mein kya teer maaroongi? When I get bored of the goddamn canvas.. I ask my daughter to crap it up for me… ie. The smudge lines on canvas will be meticulously produced by my daughter.

The only thing I will highlight in bold are the strong ‘V’ lines of his taut torso and private parts. These will leap out of the canvas and smack you in the face like a loud clanging bell. Oooh la la…”

[SK] I HAVE’NT HAD THAT OLD B*@&@ASTARD for so long… I want him now… I will focus only on the cool dudes’ private parts and torso… I will tear his member apart.. and hang it in front of him, and use it as an object for my stupid paiting, which eventually will make no sense. Shekhar will never dare to go near any lady after that.

Life, among other things, has lent Suchitra a sense of humour, and her tongue is firmly in her cheek on this one. Why is she doing this? “Well,” said Suchitra, “It started when someone I knew casually called me up and asked if they can stop by my studio to be painted in the nude. I was shocked and felt very betrayed — if they were strangers, it wouldn’t feel like ‘Is this how you have perceived me all this while?’ Disgusting!”

[SK] Why are these good-for-nothing F*&@# adding this extra salt to my misery ?? You peverts! You Fu*@&@ BA*%@##

But as she pondered it, Suchitra said, the artist in her took over. “I asked myself why is it that when women get treated as sex objects, there’s always a reasoning and logical dimension given to it. So as an artist, I decided to reverse the roles and asked how men would feel if I made them sex kittens?”

[SK] Shekhar is my past.. going forward, I have to have someone asap. And my F*@ckALL painting talent will surely get hot men back into my life…They will surely come for me… if not for my F(@*@all paintings.

Have perceptions of her changed after her divorce? “Yes, a little bit, if an Alyque Padamsee can ask me: ‘So, do many men hit on you?’ — which he wouldn’t have dared do when I was married. But I don’t believe the world is full of such men. On the whole it’s a nice place, and I’m pretty insulated — I go to my studio a n d paint. I have my daughter. I live a full life. So no, I’m not at all fearful of it at all.” Thirteen years after

He has always tried to hit on me and several other good looking ladies. Boodha Ghodaa Laal Lagaam. I feel like burning off his goatie beard.

My Personal Experience: I’ve envied this old man too…A few years back when a hot looking chic had accompanied him to the ZOOM party… I was standing in one corner sipping red-wine with my extra-introvert journo friends.. meanwhile this old fart was dancing away with this sensational and glamorous girl. She was in a transparent black gown… flaunting her designer / flashy inner wear…

That night I was taken to the Lilavati hospital, as I had almost drooled to death…The Docs’ had to intravenously and orally administer 2 bottles of Saliva, to get me back to my normal state.

Suchitra played the coquettish Anna opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, the actor who had put her career on hold to become director Shekhar Kapur’s wife, has post-divorce taken on the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s wife in Ram Gopal Varma’s remake of the classic Sholay. “My character is not evil. I play a pretty much spaced-out housewife in the film. It’s quite interesting actually,” she said.

[SK] I have no work… No films… I HAVE to paint… I have to produce crappy canvases and call it Abstract.

FYI. The lil’ irritating boy Addy, who was featured in my earlier posts, produces better abstracts… way to go young lady!
